I'm Aleksandar Markovic, a senior full-stack and mobile engineer with around 15 years of experience. I help founders ship, rescue and secure software — especially when a previous team, agency or "cheap" build didn't hold up.

Most recently I was the lead engineer on a UK regulated online pharmacy, taking an inherited, half-built codebase to a stable platform doing ~£296K/month with zero production outages. Before that I led mobile engineering teams (up to ~30 engineers) and built products across fintech, healthtech and high-scale consumer apps.

This blog is where I write, in plain English, about the questions founders actually ask me: is my code any good, did my agency deliver, is my project secure, and when do you need a senior versus a cheaper option.
